Based on the theme – ‘Link Your Life’, these products represent the next generation in digital home entertainment, home monitoring and wireless connectivity products.

The Boxee Box by D-Link
A winner of the Consumer Electronics Association’s Best of Innovations Award 2010. The Boxee Box by D-Link is a set-up box that delivers movies, TV shows, music and photos from a user’s PC, home network or Internet to a HDTV . Using software that supports social sharing, friends and family can easily view and exchange content from social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.
The D-Link Pebble
An uber sleek and compact media player designed to stream any media files onto a television, the D-Link Pebble makes use of 802.11n wireless technology to sync to any home network system. A Consumer Electronics Associations Innovations honouree, it can stream data from wherever it is stored including USB thumbdrives, memory cards, network storage devices, PCs and the Internet.
The D-Link Home Monitoring Starter Kit
An easy to use and innovative “Connected Home Monitor” system, the D-Link Home Monitoring Starter Kit provides homeowners with greater levels of security. Quick and easy to install, the Consumer Electronics Innovations Award-winning system connects via broadband router in the home to be remotely monitored and controlled through a personalised web portal account at mydlink.com. Alerts from wireless sensors around the home are instantly relayed by text, email and voice-call to the home owner and his designated contacts.
The Home Monitoring Starter Kit can be expanded with another Consumer Electronics Associations Innovations honouree, the D-Link Home Energy Monitoring Starter Kit. The first product of its kind to measure energy consumption of electrical appliances in the home, the Home Energy Monitoring Starter Kit is designed to help homeowners keep home energy consumption to a minimum by providing practical tools for power management. When linked to the Home Monitoring Starter Kit, owners will be able to use the mydlink portal to program devices to power-down when no one is at home.
D-Link 3G Door Phone
The D-Link 3G Door Phone functions like a standard doorbell but offers the ability to check out visitors in full view even when home owners are away from home using a 3G-capable mobile phone. Featuring an integrated 0.1 megapixel Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor ( CMOS ) camera, the 3G Door Phone will capture and stream images of visitors to a computer or 3G handset, with the added advantage of an illuminated button to peek outside whenever it is dark.
D-Link One-Bay Portable Network Attached Storage (NAS)
The D-Link One-Bay Portable NAS is a small and compact enclosure for a 2.5 inch SATA drive, allowing users to carry their complete library of data, photos, movies, music and other large files while working on their notebook computers away from the office. Designed to free up space on notebook hard disk drives, the One-Bay Portable NAS can also provide easy file back up by working as a portable hard drive which can be directly attached to a PC’s USB port.
D-Link Rush
The D-Link Rush is an Xtreme N600 Duo HD MediaBridge kit which can boost the speed and connectivity of any home wireless network. It is D-Link’s fastest, most far reaching and most secure wireless device yet. Taking home networking to a new level of performance, the Rush boosts the power of any existing 802.11 a, b, g or n router up to 600Mps* to provide the fastest streaming possible of high-definition content such as movies, HD video and photos.

Providing simultaneous dual-band 2.4 and 5GHz support for up to 450MBps transfers, the Touch allows users to access internet data while streaming HD media content such as videos and music.
D-Link Wireless N Pocket Router
The D-Link Wireless N Pocket Router is a portable router which can be used either as a wireless router to create an 802.11n Wi-Fi network anywhere one is needed or as an access point to add Wi-Fi to an existing wired network. Just 91.4mm x 66mm x 20.3mm and weighing just 66gm, the Wireless N Pocket Router is small and convenient enough to be carried anywhere.
D-Link Powerline 11n Wi-Fi Router
The Powerline 11n Wi-Fi Router is D-Link’s first Powerline router that combines both Wi-Fi and Powerline technologies into a single device for greater flexibility when creating a home network. While offering powerful wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi networking, it also taps into existing powerlines running through walls to extend home network into rooms where the Wi-Fi signal might not be strong enough.

NetEasy is the newest software program from D-Link designed to improve the complete user experience with all D-Link products. It makes installation and setup quicker, easier and nearly automatic as well as improves the user’s ability to manage their network devices and receive valuable status information. NetEasy works to improve access to the core functions and cross-functions of D-Link devices and decreases the user’s need to obtain technical support by offering proactive troubleshooting. NetEasy will launch in Q1 of 2010 with the Xtreme N Wireless Router. |
